Overview

Scuba Diving + Island Hopping in the Andamans (7 Days)

Learn to dive. Explore beneath the surface. Wake up in paradise.

This isn’t your average tropical getaway—this is a full-sensory adventure that takes you into the heart of the Andaman Islands, both above and below the surface.

Over seven unforgettable days, you’ll learn to scuba dive under the guidance of PADI-certified instructors, immersing yourself in a vibrant underwater world teeming with life: technicolor coral gardens, curious reef fish, and the peaceful stillness of the deep. You’ll complete structured dive training with real open-water dives—no prior experience needed.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there.

Once you’ve earned your fins, we set off island-hopping through the Andaman Sea, cruising to remote coves, jungle-lined beaches, and historical island sites. From the white sands of Neil and Havelock to the clear shallows of Ross and North Bay, every stop is a window into the region’s natural beauty and cultural roots.

Whether you’re a solo explorer or coming with a crew, this experience is built for those who crave discovery, challenge, and connection—with the ocean, with the islands, and with yourself.

What You’ll Experience:

  • 🐠 Scuba Dive Certification: Learn essential dive skills and complete real dives in the coral-rich waters of Havelock and Neil Islands

  • 🏝️ Tropical Living: Wake up in beachfront stays, dine on fresh local meals, and travel stress-free—logistics handled

Itinerary

Welcome to the Andaman Islands! Arrive in Port Blair and meet your trip lead and group. After a quick orientation, we’ll take a scenic ferry ride to Neil Island, a peaceful paradise of palm-fringed beaches and calm waters. Spend three thrilling days completing your PADI-certified scuba diving course, led by certified professionals. You'll master essential skills in confined water before heading out for two open-water dives daily in the Andaman’s coral-rich marine zones.

Common Questions

No, swimming is not mandatory for the PADI Scuba Diver course (limited certification), but basic water comfort is highly recommended. If you're interested in full Open Water Diver certification, swimming ability is required.

You must be at least 12 years old to begin a scuba certification course. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes. The course is specifically designed for beginners and follows strict international safety protocols. You'll be trained by certified PADI instructors, with professional equipment and full supervision during all dive sessions.

Participants will typically earn a PADI Scuba Diver certification, allowing supervised dives up to 12 meters. For those who meet the requirements and opt in, the Open Water Diver certification (up to 18 meters) may also be completed, depending on conditions and time.

If you’re unable to complete all course modules or dives due to time, health, or comfort issues, you may still receive a partial certification or referral document that can be completed at another PADI center later.

You should be in reasonably good health with no major heart, lung, or ear conditions. A brief medical form is required before diving. If in doubt, consult your doctor prior to booking.

Accommodation is in neat, clean guesthouses or boutique stays on Neil Island, Havelock, and Port Blair. Rooms are on twin/triple-sharing basis, with basic amenities and close access to dive centers or beaches.

We keep groups small and personal — between 8 to 10 participants — to ensure focused dive instruction and smooth travel logistics.

You’re very welcome to join solo! Many of our participants travel alone and meet like-minded people through the experience.

Breakfast and dinner are included daily. Lunch is left open so you can explore local cafes or eat as per your schedule during dive breaks.

Expect a mix of local Indian and continental dishes — fresh seafood, vegetarian meals, and tropical fruits. Let us know in advance if you have dietary restrictions.

Network is available in most places but can be patchy on some islands. BSNL and Airtel work best in the Andamans. Wi-Fi is available at most stays but may be slow.

We’ll share a full packing list with you after booking, but essentials include light clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, personal toiletries, and a dry bag. All dive gear is provided.

Yes, we can help you extend your stay or arrange extra dives, beach stays, or even other island visits. Let us know while booking and we’ll plan accordingly.
